I am a father, husband, designer, and drummer that lives and works in Louisville, KY. I currently work as a Front-end Designer & Developer for CBS Interactive, where I use common sense and technology to make the internet awesome.
Before parenthood I used to spend all my time playing in bands, touring, writing and recording albums. Although web design is my main passion right now I will forever and always enjoy playing music.
At CBS Interactive my title is Web Designer, but the majority of my work I do is front-end development. I was hired on the B2B team to assist with the redesigns of Tech Republic, Tech Pro Research and SmartPlanet (now retired). Our team built these sites on a new platform which incorporates the Symfony PHP framework, jQuery and SASS. Starting in 2015 I contributed redesigns to certain pages of CNET, and am currently working on a redesign of ZDNet.
Before working at CBS Interactive I was the Lead Designer for Media Services, in the Presbyterian Mission Agency, at the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The three sites below are the main sites I helped build and maintain. On top of that I maintained close to 100 programmatic sites across the Presbyterian Mission Agency.
The Safe Media Company is the moniker I use for my freelance work. For over 10 years I have been developing web sites for non-profits, private business's, musicians and artists while building great relationships along the way.
I am currently taking on select projects. If you are interested in hiring me, or just want to chat please email me. Let's meet face to face and discuss the services you are needing. I do not publish any prices or fee's on my site. Every project is different, and It is a lot easier to give you a quote once I know what needs to be built.
